OK the debate is on. Lots of messages debating if this is a pumpkinseed, bluegill or hybrid. I’ve now come to the conclusion of it being a hybrid. Here is why: It lacks the orange spot of a pumpkinseed but has the pumpkinseed color pattern around the face and mid-body if you look closely. Not to mention size favors that of a bluegill. Rain, snow and crazy winds didn’t stop @averagejaneoutdoors and I this last week! Caught some nice fish and also had one heck of an adventure on Kab. I think we were even the last ones to return to shore when the waters got rough and the first ones out in 35 degree weather the next morning ❄️.
